Lightning storm, September 22, 2005.

On my way home that night, I saw lightning all around me, despite the fact that it wasn't raining. It was the perfect opportunity for me to attempt to photograph the lightning for the first time using my SLR. The results were very good.

Visit to my parents' home in northern Wisconsin.

Another lightning storm on October 1, 2006. Taken with my new Canon Rebel XTi. I set the camera to manual focus at infinity and preset the exposure to 30 seconds at f/8 and ISO 100 for all of these pictures.
